Out with the old

So I had a busy weekend... friday visit my cousin in thw hospital, pick up kids from school. That night we had a football game which we won 32 to 25. #goBEARS #77 after the game we always get In N' Out which takes at least 30 minutes. Dropped my oldest off at his dads which is across town. Sometimes that night a fell asleep in the recliner.

Sarurday morning bright and early. . Headed to smart and finale for my best friend. She needed some stuff for the shop and since I was heading up the mountian I got what she needed. We were going up to see her for the Coyote Howl Festival.  So much fun they had one of the best turnouts so far. Got home J had cooked tacos that night yummy. He really is an amazing xook.

The next morning day I go to make breakfast  and this aweful smell come at me when I open the fridge. I thought it was this coleslow we had made at the beginning of the week. So I pull it out and wash the container. We had take and bake pizza for dinner. As my dd is getting ice she yells mom the ice is wet.... WHAT? I tell her of course its wet. She replies no mom its wet like melting.

Wouldnt you know everything is wet... even the milk was perspiring.  Great!! I mean its been a good refrigerator 11 years... it wasn't the best or the biggest but at the time it was good enough. J and I made the decision it was time for a new bigger one.  As we started checking all the meet was cold but starting to defrost. So we cooked everthing we had so it woukd go bad... monday we went and bought a brand new side by side with ice and water black refrigerator.  Should be here tomorrow. Now I get the wonder task of emptying the old.  We think it must have went out friday to have thing defrost by Sunday.

Recomnected

These past week as been a doozie.. started off with a sick child. My daughter has these episodes of stomach aches. We are used to it now but its always hard to see your child sick and in pain.

Then my cousin who I haven't talked to in months ends up almost dieing.  Nothing lick reconnecting with someone you miss. We spent most of our time at the hospital this week. Lots of prayers and family bonding worked miracles.  She is doing alot better and recovering at our grandmother's house.

I've missed my cousin dearly but when situations are out of your control there is really nothing you can do. Im pleased we have been able to reconnect and there is nothing stopping us now. At least I hope. Sometimes people allow others to make choice for them to avoid an argument but when alienates you from your family its never a good thing. I hope the stregnth of our family will help bond will help heal all wounds and build a better place for her. She has a long road ahead of her, but now she is circled by family that only want the best for her and the kids.
