No hope in sight

So, I haven't been feeling good for almost two months now. My white blood count is high and something else is low. My doctor thinks I'm fighting some sort of virus and my GI took biopsy from my endoscopy last week. Waiting for the results and seeing if we need to do more test. I have started on a probiotic and eliminating processed food. this is a hard one because majority of food is processed. I live in a small town we don't have a health food store, but I'm trying my best. Anything I eat comes right back out this is not a pretty sight or easy considering I work 10 hour days. I came home early yesterday and stayed home today from work because of this issue my body is having and the fact that for the last three days I have had a lingering headache. I took a three hour nap and ate a really good lunch/dinner. Feeling alittle better.

lunch/dinner: Chopped some chicken thighs, green squash & yellow squash, green beans and red onions sautéed in a little olive oil. SO GOOD!!! I good eat this every day.

I follow 100 days of real food. She is amazing I started to print out her recipes to try them out. I haven't tried anything yet but making a shopping list and picking what I can find her and what I can't. If anyone wants more info on getting back to non processed food and get help and support I HIGHLY recommend her.

Today was a great day not only for me since I got to rest but little miss C aka Banana got her instrument for the school band. At the beginning of each year I encourage my kids to join clubs and groups. This year they went full force and I don't even know how I'm going to get them all to where they need to be or if they will even have time to sleep.  I will figure it out and do it just like all moms do. Back to Little Miss C she came hope at the beginning of the week and said that she is going to join band. We started talking about how I myself was in band MANY years ago. One Wednesday she jumped into the car and said I'm going to play the saxophone and she proceed to go on how she seen a band at school play. She also said she wants to be like Lisa Simpson... HAHAHAHA! We went over how it takes dedication and hard work but if you but the time in then you will be a good saxophone player.  So yesterday her father took her to the music store to get a quote on what this is going to cost. Once he found out the whopping price to start up and lease this brass instrument he tried to get her to pick something else. I really feel bad for the store clerk since he tried explaining to Little Miss C that the suite case she will be caring will be very heavy. He also showed her all the other great instruments she can choose from but every time she turned them both down and stuck to her guns. So today we got her the saxophone, bamboo reeds, instruction book and stand. $130.00 later Little Miss C is a proud leaser of a shine brass saxophone. She is beyond ecstatic and wishes she can put everything together but we told her she has to wait until she meets with band since they will go over everything.

Today Topic is Recipe
I have to say I have been collecting recipes for years and have a TON. I used to cook a lot when I was a stay at home mom. Now with my working schedule and being spoiled by J doing most of the cooking I'm sad to say I cook once in awhile. I'm hopping to start cooking more with me trying to change our eating habit's. when I think of one recipes that would be our family perogie recipe that has been passed down through generation after generations. I finally at 35 years of age can make them and they taste similar to my grandmothers. just similar not exactly but close enough. We make them majority of the time for special events or when we can get an assembly line going. I think the most memorable time was this past July when we went on our family vacation and we made them at the lake house. I have seen ventured on from the family tradition cheddar potato and salt pork.. I have started to try different variations but will always go back to cheddar potatoes and salted pork.
